WALNUT COVE — Brady Clark scored 25 points and dished out seven assists, while BJ Gray posted a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds as South Stokes rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat Chatham Central 74-62 in a Greater Triad 1A/2A Conference game Friday night at South Stokes High School.
The victory marked a historic milestone for Sauras coach Jason Clark, who became the first coach in school history to reach 300 career wins since the program's inception in 1964. "It's very special. I don't want to try to take away from that... it's hard to win one game these days but it's a longevity thing," Clark said. "It's not just me. It's my coaches that have worked with me; we don't win games, we help guide them to it, but it's the kids that do it. I mean, it's just 20 years of kids working hard for me."
