Stokes Early College High School

Bus 69, which covers most of the King area, has a couple of extra riders tomorrow morning, Monday, December 15, so please be ready for the bus to possibly arrive 5 minutes earlier than usual.

Due to the winter weather advisory and forecast for Monday, Stokes County Schools will operate on a remote learning day on Monday, December 8, 2025. Students should follow the remote learning plans provided by their teachers. If you have questions about expectations or assignments, please contact your child’s teacher or school principal for guidance. Staff should refer to communication from their supervisors regarding reporting expectations. The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tomorrow night will be rescheduled. When a new date is determined, an announcement will be made. Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of our students. Please stay safe and warm as this weather system moves through our area.

As we enter the winter weather season, remember that Stokes Early College follows the closures and delays of Stokes County Schools. If, by chance, the college isn't closed, instructors will be informed, and they may require alternate assignments. During a closure, students should check for announcements in Blackboard and be in contact with their college instructors.

The bus for the 9th Grade Field Trip to High Point University and Greensboro College will be a little late, arriving closer to 5pm.

Hello Falcons, Bus 69 (King area route) will have a new substitute driver in the morning on Friday, November 14, so the times could be a little off. Please be prepared for either an earlier or later arrival. Email Mr. Durham, if you are not planning to ride.

Good Morning Falcons, Mrs. Cindy on Bus 98 (Sandy Ridge, Madison, Walnut Cove, Germanton) is delayed about 10-15 minutes this morning.

The bus for the 11th grade College Visits Field Trip today should be arriving back to campus around 3:30pm.

Bus 69 is on the road again and is running about 20 minutes late.

Hello Falcons, We informed Bus Riders today of a few bus adjustments for Fri, Sep 19, 2025. Due to a shortage of drivers, the following adjustments will be made. - For the morning only, Bus 69 will be 77. It will be a different driver, so be ready 10 minutes before or after your usual time. Bus 98 has sub drivers for a couple of weeks starting 9/18. Fri, 9/19, a driver shortage is likely. We'll follow up tomorrow with details.

As we transition to Infinite Campus, we are experiencing some growing pains. Many families who began the Online Registration (OLR) process for new students may have received a message saying they’d get a follow-up email to complete the application — but unfortunately, that email was never sent due to a system issue.

💡 If you started the OLR and are still waiting for a confirmation email, please restart the process from the beginning to ensure your application is received.
