North Stokes High School

We are so excited to welcome Mr. Ricky Vernon to our Viking family as our newly appointed Principal! Mr. Vernon has been in education for 30 years. He attended Bluefield College for his undergraduate degree, University of Virginia for special education endorsement, and Longwood College for his Master's Program. He began his career in 1994 at Patrick County High School and has been a part of Stokes County Schools since 2001. He has been married to his wife, Christie, for 28 years and has two sons, Austin and Colby.
